Sidney Dillard

Sidney Dillard is head of the Corporate Investment Banking Division at Loop Capital. In addition to managing the corporate team at Loop Capital, Ms. Dillard is responsible for relationship management and the team’s business development efforts with corporations across all areas of the firm, including bond underwriting, initial public offerings, private institutional capital raising and mergers and acquisition advisory. Ms. Dillard reports to Loop Capital’s Chairman and CEO, working closely with him to shape the strategy of the firm. As well, she serves on the firm’s Management Committee and Fairness and Valuation Committee.

She has over 28 years of financial services experience encompassing a long tenure at The Northern Trust Company, where she was a Senior Vice President and Division Manager responsible for commercial banking, treasury management, retirement plan custody and investment services for large corporations. Ms. Dillard joined Loop Capital in August 2002.

Outside of Loop Capital, Ms. Dillard is heavily involved with various professional and philanthropic organizations. She is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the International Women’s Forum and is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow. In addition to her organizational memberships, she also sits on various non-profit boards. Ms. Dillard is actively involved with the Girls Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago, The Academy of Sciences and its Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, The First Tee of Greater Chicago, and build On Midwest Advisory Board.

Ms. Dillard received a Masters of Management in Finance, Marketing and Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.

She holds Series 24, 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
Ms. Dillard lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two children who are 16 and 13 years old.
