Sarah Guernsey is Deputy Director and Senior Vice President for Curatorial Affairs at the Art Institute of Chicago. With a wide-ranging portfolio, she is a key partner in leading the museum’s strategic goals, strengthening its civic presence, and shaping the museum’s annual $110 million budget. She oversees the collection, care, and interpretation of works of art and guides exhibition, research, digital, publishing, and education practices across the museum. Sarah is a trustee of Roosevelt University; she is also on the boards for the Northwestern University Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts and the Roosevelt University Women’s Leadership Council. She is a member of Chicago’s Arts Club and previously sat on the advisory board for Yale University’s Art and Architecture ePortal.
