Elizabeth (Beth) Karlson is executive vice president and regional executive for PNC’s Corporate Bank. In this role, she leads all of PNC’s middle market and large corporate banking activities in the western footprint, including Texas. She is responsible for leading a team that provides lending, capital markets, treasury management and asset management services to clients in these markets. In addition, she oversees the emerging technology & venture banking group and multinational corporate banking for PNC.

Karlson, who joined PNC in September 2013, has more than 30 years of banking experience. She held senior leadership positions in the commercial bank at JP Morgan Chase in both middle market banking and capital markets.

Previously, she served as managing director and head of Chase Private Placement, a broker/dealer and branch of JPMorgan Securities, LLC where she worked closely with bankers and clients on capital advisory.

Active in the Chicago community, Karlson serves on the board of trustees for the Lincoln Park Zoological Society. She is a member of the invitation only Chicago Finance Exchange and The Chicago Network. Karlson also leads the Mid-Career Women’s group at PNC.

Karlson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 79 and 24.
