As Vice President and General Manager, Kate is responsible for the leadership and management of the Chicago Office, which has over 250 employees and completes $700 Million of revenue annually. She is focused on establishing the business strategy, long-term vision and culture of the business unit while also ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Kate is also founding member of Turner’s Inclusion Action Committee, which is committed to building a diverse and inclusive pipeline of future leaders who represent the communities in which we live and build. Kate earned a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is a licensed architect. She joined Turner as a Project Manager in the Special Projects Division in 2008, after practicing architecture in New Orleans, Ft. Lauderdale and Chicago. At Turner, Kate has advanced through a number of operational roles providing project management and leadership during the design, preconstruction and construction phases on a wide variety of projects. In 2016, she accepted an assignment as the Business Development Manager, focused the growth of the Chicago Business Unit and was then named Vice President, General Manager of the Chicago office in late 2019. As an active member in her community, Kate serves on several boards including the Chicago Architecture Center, Professional Women in Construction, and the American Heart Association Hard Hats for Hearts. She is also a member of the Chicago Economic Club, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Institute of Architects. In her spare time, she loves cooking, traveling, golfing, and skiing with her husband Rich and two daughters: Ava (12) and Olivia (10).
