Bevin Desmond is head of talent & culture for the Chicago investment research giant, a role she’s held since 2010. Desmond also oversees the data & development centers in Mumbai, Shenzhen, and Madrid. She leads a team charged with encouraging, innovating and transforming a workforce of 5,500 in 27 countries. After joining Morningstar in 1993, Desmond spent her first five years building the talent acquisition capability that has resulted in Morningstar’s reputation of hiring smart high potential employees. In particular, Desmond has been an executive of Morningstar since 2000. She has served as president of international operations and head of global markets, transforming Morningstar from US business to a global research powerhouse operating in 27 countries.
