Marla Gottschalk

Marla Gottschalk is Chief Executive Officer of The Pampered Chef, the premier direct seller of high- quality kitchen tools and a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of businesses. Gottschalk leads The Pampered Chef’s executive team, and is responsible for the overall direction of the business. In addition to day to day decision making, she oversees long-range planning and defines corporate strategy for the company. Gottschalk joined The Pampered Chef in December 2003 as President and Chief Operating Officer and was named Chief Executive Officer in May 2006.

Gottschalk came to The Pampered Chef from Kraft Foods, Inc., where she worked for 14 years. During her time at Kraft, she held a variety of positions including Executive Vice President and General Manager of Post Cereals and Senior Vice President, financial planning and investor relations.

A graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., Gottschalk earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting, and went on to receive a Master of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.

Gottschalk is a member of the Academy of Alumni Fellows of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and serves on the Kelley School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Underwriter Laboratories and Potbelly Sandwich Works.
